A collaborative, immersive experience designed to unite the community, foster creativity, and promote environmental stewardship. Organized by the Feather River College Foundation and Plumas Arts, this event features a unique blend of art and nature, with curated hiking routes showcasing visual and performing arts installations.
Artists Wanted
Looking for local folks for musical performances, poetry/spoken word, drama, dance, paintings, photography, weaving, woodwork, photography, and any other forms of art.

Hike & Silent Auction
Silent Auction & Artist Celebration at the trail’s end
After your journey through the woods—where art met nature in fleeting and beautiful harmony—join us for a Silent Auction curated selection of original artworks, handcrafted goods, and local experiences donated by the artists and artisans featured along the hike.

Live Music & Performances
Scattered throughout the hike are live and ambient musical elements designed to surprise and delight
Whether it’s the echo of a violin down a canyon wall or the sudden appearance of a dancer beneath a sunbeam, the performing arts installations offer a sense of magic and discovery throughout your journey.

Dinner & Cocktails
Enjoy light refreshments and a no-host bar
After your hike, gather for a BBQ feast of chicken chimichurri, grilled veggies, beans, fries, fresh sourdough, dessert, and a complimentary drink. Local wines, beer, and appetizers available at the no-host bar.
Tickets for dinner are in addition to art-hike passes.
Scenic Location
The Gallery of the of Woods will be hosted by Greenhorn Ranch. Established in 1962, Greenhorn Ranch is a premier guest ranch in Northern California’s Lost Sierra.
